In analogy to what concerns mattresses, there are tax concessions for slatted bed bases which have obtained a recognition by the Ministry of Health as "Class 1 Medical Device", defined in the Legislative Decree 26.02.1997 N.46 and implementation of the 93.42 EEC directive concerning medical devices. Also in this case, to take advantage of tax deduction, the following documents are required:

  • • Prescription on headed paper of the attending physician (and / or specialist), as detailed as possible, in which the medical staff states the health of the client, the proven pathology and, therefore, the necessity of having to use a slatted bed base that is CE Class 1 Medical Device;
  • • Invoice made out to the taxpayer to whom the expense refers, with a date following that of the prescription.

Annoying tongues or cramps in the limbs force a continuous change of position, compromising the intensity and quality of sleep.
